As part of its mission to make every home secure, SimpliSafe introduced a first-of-its-kind innovation: 24/7 Active Guard Outdoor Protection, combining advanced AI, a new outdoor camera and the expertise of SimpliSafe’s human monitoring agents. SimpliSafe turned to 360 to demonstrate how the technology works and establish its superiority in a competitive home security market.

We brought Active Guard to life for media by creating an immersive home environment in New York City, filling the SimpliSafe house with influential technology, business and lifestyle journalists.

The setting allowed media to experience firsthand how Active Guard identifies and responds to potential threats. We also demonstrated how SimpliSafe’s broader ecosystem, from outdoor cameras to leak sensors, gives homeowners easy-to-install protection inside and outside the home. From there, we brough Active Guard to the Consumer Electronics Show, which kicked off a robust, year-long product review and awards program.

We paired SimpliSafe executives with select journalists for one-on-one interviews and prepared spokespeople to clearly communicate the role of AI, human expertise and innovation in delivering a more advanced approach to home security.

More than three-quarters of launch coverage featured SimpliSafe in the headline, immediately establishing recognition and credibility for Active Guard. Sales exceeded first-year forecasts, with earned media identified as a key driver.
