Transformation Story


360PR+ was tasked with changing the perception of HMH from textbook publisher to edtech innovator – one that’s sharply focused on creating positive outcomes for educators and students. Our full-circle approach focused on reaching customers, partners, investors and employees with a digital-first story that illuminates the connected learning experiences HMH makes possible and how HMH is helping to advance equity in education.


360PR+ focused on telling a signature story, helping HMH own the high-tech, high-touch classroom and targeting a blend of high-reach business media and targeted customer trade outlets. We helped devise research with educators, packaged as HMH’s Educator Confidence Report, to provide a compelling platform from which to talk about HMH solutions, and paired data points with customer testimonials.


A well-timed bylined article with TechCrunch sparked the conversation and provided a halo of endorsement for HMH connected classroom solutions, which we leveraged to secure additional media interest. HMH’s share of earned media has quickly increased, outpacing competitors with 250+ articles including its “digital first” messaging, furthering awareness of HMH as edtech leader. Our efforts have supported HMH’s sales team and helped to increase recurring revenue from subscription products and are being leveraged in communications with other stakeholders.
