IT Manager (Boston)

360PR+ is seeking an IT Manager to implement best information technology practices to match the business needs of our strategic and growing public relations agency.  In addition to ongoing education and support of all things tech related, this role will provide  counsel and direction to agency leadership on all IT related projects.  This is a client-facing position which calls for strong organization, communication and analytical thought leadership.  The candidate will maintain current, relevant certifications supported by our robust professional development program and must be willing to travel regularly to our NY office site. 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing Tier 1 through Tier 3 technical support to Boston, NY and West Coast team members on-site and remote.
  • Developing and streamlining best practice IT processes and policies to ensure full compliance with current and anticipated client contracts.
  • Proactively anticipating potential security risks and researching and implementing solutions
  • Support of Microsoft O365 email
  • Maintaining comprehensive audit of all technical equipment, warranties and contracts related to IT and telecommunications
  • Managing all IT and telecommunications services and vendor relationships

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with 6-8 years of IT experience in a professional services environment
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft OS 10; Mac knowledge a plus
  • Expert IT knowledge (browsers, IM, FTP, etc.)
  • Expert desktop application knowledge (Office, anti-virus, anti-malware, etc.)
  • Expert knowledge of Dell and Lenovo laptop hardware
  • Maintenance and support of Dell PowerEdge T330 Server
  • Advanced networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, routers, switches, cloud, firewalls)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
