Digital Manager

We are looking for an advanced digital/social team member with demonstrated experience leading the daily activities of junior digital staff, driving higher-level thinking for client account teams, and a growing ability to help improve digital team processes and operations. A successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the major social platforms; a solid understanding of third-party digital distribution and content channels; and senior level experience using tracking tools, such as Google Analytics, to aggregate cross channel data and develop meaningful insights, measurement and performance reports. An experienced content strategist, this candidate is capable of mapping a long-term content approach back to client goals and supervising the planning, drafting, development and execution of digital content calendars. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, the ability to balance shifting priorities and a polished verbal and written presentation style. 

Reporting to the Vice President of Digital Services, this role will assist in leading digital account teams, overseeing the work of junior staff members, balancing skillsets and workloads and tackling the client challenges. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with media, creative and tech teams to concept ideas for client and new business campaigns, ensuring digital thinking is included from the beginning on all projects
  • Partnering with junior team members to pull key insights from social chatter, industry trends and competitive research, and quickly translating that knowledge into meaningful strategy insights
  • Managing the business side of client relationships, writing quality SOWs, budgeting for campaigns, and regularly tracking resource usage and utilization in comparison to budgets/scopes
  • Driving the development of creative briefs, and managing the strategy side of the content production process in conjunction with Creative Services team members
  • Developing recommendations for and executing on paid digital opportunities across social media, third-party distribution networks, media integrations
  • Leading consumer targeting and performance measurement activities across paid, owned and earned activities
  • Managing non-social web and digital platforms, such as microsites and landing pages, and managing development partners as they build, edit, update and maintain client deliverables
  • Leading digital vendor relationships, aiding account teams and junior digital staff in selecting the right partner for the right campaigns and constantly maintaining our rolodex of qualified, cutting-edge partners
  • Championing the latest in digital technology, updating internal team members and clients on new hardware, software, and platform opportunities and identifying opportunities to use these tools/offerings
  • Working with Google Analytics and tracking mechanisms such as conversion pixels and UTM codes, and regularly implements these tools to track the performance of client campaigns



  • 4+ years of digital media experience, preferably in an agency setting, with proven success leading digital campaigns and managing junior staff
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in related field of study: Marketing, Communications, PR
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and digital management tools including, but not limited to, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads Manager, Google AdWords, Google Analytics and Sprinklr
  • Experience with tracking mechanisms such as conversion pixels and UTM codes, and regularly implements these tools to track the performance of client campaigns
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to quickly learn new platforms, tools and processes
