POSITION OVERVIEW

As an Account Coordinator, you will be entrenched in every aspect of agency life with the immediate opportunity to contribute and learn about campaigns for dynamic consumer brands and companies. To hit the ground running, you'll be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the details of core account programs and updates via databases & trackers
  • Working closely with team members to keep account activity on track and moving forward
  • Highlighting client coverage on a daily basis
  • Coordinating client product mailings and following up with media
  • Maintaining updated media contacts list
  • Drafting social media posts
  • Researching background information for new business prospects
  • Participating on weekly client calls and meetings, as well as agency wide meetings and brainstorm sessions

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, Marketing, Journalism or related communications field
  • Prior internship or full-time experience in a public relations agency, in-house communications department or media organization
  • Passionate consumer of media, staying current with news and trending lifestyle topics and cultural events
  • Ability to communicate, written and orally, in a clear, concise and creative manner
  • Adept at multi-tasking, never losing sight of details
  • Motivated to take the initiative to lead research and other projects
  • Experience in consumer brands is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
