POSITION OVERVIEW

As an Account Coordinator, you will have an opportunity to contribute to and learn about every aspect of agency life and campaigns for dynamic consumer brands and companies. To hit the ground running, here are some of the qualifications we are looking for:

  • Maintains the details of core account programs and updates via databases & trackers
  • Works closely with team members to keep account activity on track and moving forward
  • Scan and clip client coverage on a daily basis
  • Coordinates client product mailings, following up with media
  • Maintains media contacts list for account team, entering and tracking all data
  • Drafts social media posts
  • Research background information for new business prospects
  • Participate on weekly client calls and meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, Marketing, Journalism or related communications field
  • Prior internship or full-time experience in a public relations agency, in-house communications department or media organization
  • Passionate consumer of media – news and lifestyle- keeping an eye on trending topics and cultural events
  • A clear, concise and creative writer and polished presenter
  • Adept at multi-tasking, never losing sight of details
  • Able to take the initiative, leading research and other projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
